Bulls Are Enraged by the Colour Red

Bulls have red-green colour blindness and cannot see red as a distinct colour. They charge at the moving cape, not the colour. Bullfighting relics from ancient times when bullfighters wore red capes during sacrificial ceremonies; the current tradition maintains red capes despite the colour being irrelevant to the bull's response.
